At Amos Ridley & Sons we can supply landscaping supplies to the general public and landscaping companies alike.

Unlike most landscaping supply outlets we have large storage bins on our site where we can hold up to 40m3 of material. That means you can come into our depot and pick up a large truck load if you need.

The materials can either be picked up at our facility in Edgeworth or we can deliver them to your home or job site.

Products Available

Roadbase
Road base – Subgrade road base suitable for driveways, hard stand areas, carparks. For under pavers when ground needs to raised more than usual. We can also supply a whole range of other pavement materials

Sand Products
Washed Sand – Used for concreting and Motor Mixes, material has been washed to reduce salt leeching, idea for kids sand pits etc

Fill Sand
Single washed brickies sand for concrete and motor mix, or use as a backfilling sand under concrete slabs and pathways it can also be use for off white motor mixes as it is white / grey in colour.

Packing Sand
This material is ideal for use as a compacted base to lay concrete, driveways or footpaths on top off. It can be used under pavers also

Fatty Sand
This material is used by brickies in mortar mixes and for use under pool liners.

Drainage Products
10/7 Aggregate
This material can be used as aggregate in a concrete mix or for drainage purposes such as around agg lines, in open trenches and behind retaining walls. This material is a blend of 10mm and 7mm rock

30mm Aggregate
This material can be used for around agg lines behind retaining walls and sullage pits

Light Weight Boiler Ash
This material is drainage medium for behind retaining walls, it can also be used for under soil and turf drainage where poor drainage exists. Because this material is so light in weight it is recommended for use behind retaining walls as it places less weight on the wall than other drainage products.

Soils
Premium Organic Garden Soil
A blend of composted hardwood and softwood saw dust, cow manure mushroom compost, crusher dust, composted green waste, sand and topsoil – tested to AS4419-OS. The material is used for Garden Beds.

Organic Turf Underlay
This material is a sandy loam soil screened through a 3mm screen which has had 5 to 10% composted fowl manure added. It is used for topdressing lawns.

Blended Top Dress
This material is a 60/40 blend of screened top dress and screened river sand. The soil comes from Lambs Valley and is of a high quality suitable for top dressing and new lawns. A sprinkling of dynamic lifter will promote growth. Water regularly after initial application.

Mulches
Pine Bark 15mm
This material is a 15mm pine bark and is used for mulching gardens this aids with moisture and weed retention not to mention it looks good and finishes off all that hard work.

Forest Mulch
Again this mulch is used for moisture and weed retention however it provides more of a forest floor look. This material is a recycled blend of leaf and twig tub ground and aged. Our product is finer mulch.

Terracotta Tile
This material is used when a particular look is required from your landscaping it can be used in the gardens or maybe as a driveway.

Others
Concrete Mix
No point in mixing your own concrete mix we have done it for you. This product is a medium strength concrete and can be used for pathways, mowing strips and post holes.

To achieve a medium strength concrete use approximately 14 x 20kg bags of cement to 1 cubic meter of concrete mix. Or alternatively use 5 parts concrete mix to 1 part cement.

Scrappings
This material is used for filling such as low spots in the yard, retaining walls above your drainage layer, building up under paths and driveways.

We can deliver your orders to your door. Our specifically sized tipper truck can access most areas around your home or job site.

Delivery costs apply for loads under 2 cubic meters

Pricing
Our products are priced by the cubic meter or by a bobcat scoop our bobcat scoop size is 1/3 of a cubic meter.

Most landscaping supply companies will sell by the bobcat scoop, so when comparing our cost against somebody else make sure the size of the scoop is the same then you will be able to compare apples with apples.
